Fun Run!

A sea of lime green shirts, the yummy aroma of barbecue, the crunch of red cinders on the track, hundreds of smiling faces and happy voices -- the formula for a great day of family fun at the St. Dominic Fun Run. The setting is City Park on the first Saturday in October each year. Children from kindergarten through seventh grade compete in grade level races followed by a two-mile run/walk/stroll race for adults. There is an official awards presentation for winners in all divisions as well as a chance to win raffle prizes. Then lunch is provided for everyone! The St. Dominic Fun Run, sponsored by the Mothers' Club and the Men's Club, offers families an opportunity to slow the hectic pace of their busy lives and enjoy the great outdoors together--for at least half of a day!

Auction!

The school gym and cafeteria are transformed so that they are hardly recognizable. Tennis shoes, jeans, and T-shirts are replaced by black ties, sequins, and chiffon. The scintillating aromas of world famous foods waft through the night air. There is a sparkle; there is a gleam unlike any other evening of the year. Of course, it's the annual St. Dominic auction!

Those in attendance can bid on items ranging from fine jewelry, automobile services, gift certificates for local establishments, the opportunity for their child to be principal or Mr. Timmy for a day. Your child may attend a swimming party with the assistant principal or ride to school for a week with the principal -- if the price is right. Join us at the auction for an evening to remember.

School Fair!

Each year during the second weekend of April, the entire St. Dominic School and Parish family gathers for the annual spring fair. This major fundraiser tantalizes both young and old with fabulous food, fellowship, and festivity. From games of chance to watching classes performing on stage to a new favorite of kids of all ages -- karaoke -- and enticing food to delight even the most finicky taste buds, the St. Dominic spring fair offers enjoyment and entertainment for all. Mark your calendar for the second weekend of April. You won't want to miss this grand celebration.

Golf Tournament!

The first Friday of May will find golfers of every skill level, from want-to-be-greats to once-a-year-hackers, taking to the links for the annual St. Dominic Golf Classic. The Men's Club sponsors this annual event to supplement the school's operating budget. In addition to the sheer fun of playing golf during the glorious spring weather of early May, the participants enjoy delectable dining delights and liberal libations to quench their thirst upon completion of the course. This is truly a favorite among our dads. The annual St. Dominic Golf Classic - a time, a place, and an event you just can't miss.
